- - R13 Forum is now open at http://r13-forum.forumotion.com/index.htm.
There all R13 members will have to opportunity to share information and images of
their handy work.
- The 2009 Nationals are rapidly approaching. For those of you attending, please
register on line and let us know who will be attending this year. I for one can't attend
due to my work duties, but I'm planning to attend the Nationals in Arizona next year.
Hope to see some of you there!

I've been tasked to head up the photographer team at this year's Nationals in Columbus.
These photos will be on the IPMS/USA web site and maybe in The Journal (that issue
is still being worked). Therefore, if anyone has a digital camera and is willing to take
photos, please contact me. With almost 140 categories, it will take a team of around 10
photographers, right now I have one confirmed from up North and myself. So please
help.

Region 13 comprises all those affiliated chapters that are outside the mainland, and the sate
of Texas. The idea behind this is to close the distances between these chapters and bring
them together in a "Virtual" place. To that effect, the following chapters comprise R13:
Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Philippines, Texas, Mexico, Argentina-Brazil, Peru, British
Columbia, Canada and soon we will be inviting to join other Latin American chapters.

The IPMS-PR officers have been invited to visit the Dominican Republic Modelers
Club during their 20th anniversary celebration. This is a very important opportunity to
link and entice the Dominican Republic folks to join and create a new IPMS chapter in
the Caribbean. We will keep you posted on this event and will have images available
later.
